Here, is where you will find a multitude of information on blackwork. As you can see from the various sections available to you, information is plenty, and this will increase month by month, enabling you to find books, patterns, new designers and materials to help you on your way to creating beautiful embroidery of your own.
As membership increases, we hope that blackwork groups will be created, and ofcourse, new friendships around the world. If you form a new group or have one already established, you will be able to register it on our group list, and this will increase your members, should you wish people in your area to join.
It is hoped that eventually, when membership grows, we will arrange an annual meeting in places such as London at the Victoria & Albert Museum which is a treasure chest of embroidery.
I sincerely hope you will enjoy being a member of the Blackwork Guild, and your love of this embroidery will increase by using the information gathered on this website, which is our main meeting point.
